What do you expect We wanted a 'simple' WordPres website for ou team and decide to give Biz.nf a try.
We created an account, in the Dashboard we got the msg. that the site would be up in about 5 mints (we used the automatic setup route). After 2 hours?! it finally was. That is/was not such a problem but a little ..ehm.. can happen.
Installing plugins takes a little long but okay, at least all seem to work. But after a few days all seem not to go that well, lots of delays (slow page loads, slow refresh back end (Wordpress admin) and all feels a little heavy).
But we had only 30 postings, a few pages and 4 users, and about 200 comments. What would happend after halve a year when the site grows in the tempo we did now after a month. We had no idea and to be honest, didn't want to wait for and taking the risk.
How much you can expect from a free hoster ppl would say. True, do not demand/expect things where you have to pay for normally, but a webhoster which offers some should at least offer some basics. Like mod_expire (google likes that a lot and helps for better ranking) but they do not!! support mod_expire because (their words) : We regret to inform you that mod_expires is not supported on our hosting environment due to security reasons.
Sorry but that is the last reason to expect from a web-hoster for not supporting such a basic 'thing' and for us (another) good reason to move on and find a hoster which has another opinion.
To make this long (for some probably not such an interesting) story short, as long you do not expect much, have time and do not mind to be off-line for sometimes halve a day it is probably a nice friendly hoster.
They are polite, and responding fast on ticket request but sadly enough not reliable for us. Imho are there enough other hosters, which offer the same (free/space/domain), are more reliable and still give the freedom for even little websites to display what they want in a normal envirement.
