Hello,
Further to your advice, we did indeed carry out maintenance on 02/01/2023, which required a complete server reboot. Although we try to keep this type of intervention to a minimum, it is sometimes necessary to keep the system up to date, efficient and perfectly secure.
In concrete terms, when a host server is rebooted, all VPS installed on it are shut down and restarted. This takes between 5 and 30 minutes, depending on the number of VPS installed.
In your case, the intervention started at 2:14 p.m. You contacted our support team at 2:38 p.m., where an agent informed you of the maintenance operation. But in the meantime, you had already restarted your VPS manually at 2:33 p.m. In your case, the outage lasted less than 20 minutes. If you hadn't intervened, the system would have restarted your service a few minutes later anyway.
We're sorry that this maintenance, which only lasted a few tens of minutes, damaged your customer experience. As previously mentioned, we try to keep this type of intervention to a minimum in order to limit the impact on our customers' user experience.
