I've been charged for a .uk domain I never subscribed. They won't refund.

you can't cancel payments, I transferred my domain away but they still charged even after switching off auto renew. I don't know how to stop them taking money on the next renewal. They are one to avoid, pretty much a scam. NO REFUNDS policy.

Shocking service. I went on their website and cancelled all renewals. I checked twice and received confirmation that I had done.

However they still took the money. I contacted them and he said “No nothing I can do it’s been renewed” he didn’t want to help and blamed me. I will report this as unauthorised transaction and let the banks sort it out.

You need to improve your service as looking at other web reviews, I’m. It the only one.

i was with names.co.uk, they put up all my prices after an agreement on renewals, wanted £10 per domain name to unlock them. With over 300 names, they ripped me off and the small print is how they trick you. AVOID at all costs. Their hosting is also a rip off and their customer service is a joke.

Will hold your domains hostage with large renewal and transfer fees, they are NOT transparent about pricing.

Has an antiquated control panel making it slow and awkward to manage your domain(s).

Will threaten you with legal action for defamation if you voice your opinion.

I decided i wanted to transfer all of my domains to one registrar to help keep them all in one place, stupidly i chose names.co.uk - their renewal prices are ridiculous so i decided that i would transfer all the domains again to a different registrar, it was then that i discovered that names.co.uk charge £10 + VAT (Per Domain) to transfer away! absolute scandalous considering domains are our property! I shall be paying the fee and leaving!

Sneaky and a lack of integrity on the website and after purchasing. Purchased my domain and then I was told it wasn't protected and everyone from USA and India has been calling and sending me spam. I then went to go and buy the privacy at £4.99 and then an extra £1 for no reason. I called customer service and they didn't know much at all about privacy. Went off the phone and then returned to say he had canceled it! No refund, just canceled!!

If you care about your online presence then avoid this hosting company because they honestly don't care about it. They are very responsive when they are perusing a sale but if you ever need online support or try & call customer service or technical support then you will be more than disappointed.

Firstly, you will most likely wait 30 minutes on hold to speak to someone, then usually they just cut you off repeatedly. Open a support ticket that just gets closed with no reply. Email response is non-existent. They removed our site completely after selling a host upgrade and promising that there would be no disruption to service. When we eventually got through to them they said they would open a technical support ticket. They eventually admitted it was a mistake they made and suggested the site should be live again in 24-48 hours. In the meantime we have no site, no online sales, no customer support for our customers & no booking - and they simply say that there is nothing that they can do.
